Owner operators work 36 states. In addition to regular benefits such as being paid on loaded and empty miles, weekends off, and more, we provide a Northeast bonus and a Safety bonus.

Owner-operator Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL-Class A license.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Two years of verifiable over the road tractor trailer experience with 48 feet and 53 feet length dry vans.
• Must meet all federal and state motor carrier requirements.
• Must complete Crown Carriers of Rocky Mount, NC. employment application.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass background and criminal checks.
• Must successfully pass company road test.
• May have no careless or reckless violations or DWI violations within the past seven years. (All applicants are subject to approval by our insurance company).
• May have no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
• May have no more than one chargeable accident within the past three years.
• Must be willing to execute and abide by lease agreement. Must submit to interviews to determine maturity, emotional stability, and professional knowledge.
• Required to have a telephone in residence and a cell phone in truck.
• Must be available and willing to receive training as deemed necessary.
