Local drivers operate mostly within a 100 mile air radius of Rocky Mount, NC. All of our company drivers have paid vacations and sick leave, health insurance coverage, and the option of participating in our 401k program.

Crown Driver Qualifications 

• Must have valid CDL-Class A license.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Two years of verifiable tractor trailer experience with 48 feet and 53 feet length dry vans.
• Must meet all federal and state motor carrier requirements.
• Must complete Crown Carriers of Rocky Mount, NC. employment application.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass background and criminal checks.
• Must successfully pass company road test.
• May have no careless or reckless violations or DWI violations within the past seven years. (All applicants are subject to approval by our insurance company).
• May have no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
• May have no more than one chargeable accident within the past three years.
• Must submit to interviews to determine maturity, emotional stability, and professional knowledge.
• Required to have a telephone in residence or personal cell phone for contacting, if no residence phone.

Must be available and willing to receive training as deemed necessary.
